<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shield sunlight coming from the surroundings of a sun visor by sliding an auxiliary sun visor in a vertical or lateral direction according to a sunlight position in the case that the sunlight comes from surroundings (a lower side or a lateral side) of the sun visor when using a sun visor equipped to an automobile as a standard. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary sun visor for the automobile includes a slide plate 1 having a vertical guide groove, a supporting plate 2 having a horizontal guide groove, guide pins 3 slidably inserted in both the vertical guide groove and the horizontal guide groove, a spring member 5 pressing the slide plate 1 on the supporting plate 2, and an installation member 2a provided on the supporting plate 2.
