<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductor for flexible board that generates few whisker or scarcely generates whisker from the surface of an Sn film or solder around a conductor, and whose contact resistance is not increased even in a high temperature released environment, and to provide a method for producing the same and a flexible board. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the conductor provided inside a flexible flat cable or a flexible printed board, Sn or Sn alloy plated film 15 is formed on the surface of the conductor composed of Cu or Cu alloy, surface oxide films 16a, 16b of the plated film 15 are composed of oxide of elements other than Sn or a mixture of Sn oxide and oxide of elements other than Sn, and the film thickness of the surface oxide is 5 nm or less.
