PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the mounting and separating of a paper detection actuator on/from a shaft comparatively easy, and to make the paper detection actuator difficult to be removed. SOLUTION: A paper detection device is provided with the paper detection actuator 2. The actuator 2 is integrally formed from synthetic resin having elasticity and has a pair of holding parts 4 and 6. The holding parts 4 and 6 are formed into circular shapes having openings 4A and 6A, and each of the holding parts is rotatably fitted and held on a shaft 122S.
