The rotor has permanent magnets arranged around a rotor axis, and wedge shaped segments (17) arranged between two permanent magnets that are arranged adjacent to each other, where the shaped segments consist of soft-magnetic material. Two lamellas (18a, 18b) are fixed in a position together such that the width of a gap is adapted to the individual thickness of the permanent magnets for play-free attachment of the wedge shaped segments at the permanent magnets, where the gap holds the permanent magnets. A thin-walled casing consists of a non-ferrous-magnetic sheet metal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an intermediate product for producing a rotor of an electronic commutated electrical motor (2) a method for manufacturing a rotor of an electronic commutated electrical motor.
