<p>Disclosed is a compound of formula (I), or a cyclic isomer thereof of formula (Vb), or an enantiomer, diastereomer, solvate, or hydrate thereof, wherein n is 1 to 3, X is CH2, S, O, CF2, or C(CH3)2, the ring including X may optionally contain a double bond, Z may be a substituent as described or a fused cyclopropyl, and wherein the other substituents are as described in the specification. Also disclosed is the use of the compound for inhibiting dipeptyl peptidase-IV, and for treating conditions regulated or normalized by inhibition of dipeptyl peptidase-IV, such as impaired glycemic control and diabetes.</p> |
