<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fresh water supply method or system (apparatus) capable of satisfying various standards, regulations, or requirements, in a method or desalination system using a reverse osmosis membrane module. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the fresh water comprises the process A of desalinating water containing salts with the reverse osmosis membrane module, the process B of electrolyzing the desalinated water, and the process C of adding a mineral component to the electrolyzed water.
