<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system for achieving distributed printing between printers whose print language is different. <P>SOLUTION: In this printing system where a plurality of printers are connected to a network, and the distributed printing of print data transmitted via a network is performed by the plurality of printers, the printer which has received the print data from the network among the plurality of printers assigns the printer which performs the distributed printing and the number of copies or pages of printing to be printed by the printer, and prints the number of copies or pages assigned to the printer, and converts the received print data into a general-purpose data format, and transmits the print data to the assigned printer. The printer which has received the print data makes the operation panel of the printer or the terminal which has transmitted the print data or the preregistered portable terminal display the information of each printer which has executed the distributed printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
