PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to designate a printing object more simply than conventionally from among a plurality of documents at the time of secure printing.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is equipped with a ten-key part for making the user input a document number of the document as the printing object, a user authentication processing part 101 which carries out authentication of the user, and a printing processing part 103 which carries out printing of the document corresponding to the document number inputted by the ten-key part after authentication of the user succeeds.
