PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive structure having expandability and capable of sufficiently retaining absorptivity of liquid or others even when expanded, and to provide the absorptive structure having the above characteristic and capable of expanding and contracting following the change and exhibiting sufficient absorbing and retaining property of a liquid or others even when the mounting condition is changed according to the movement of a wearer. SOLUTION: In the absorptive structure 10 constituted by interposing an absorptive material between two sheet materials 1, 2, the absorptive material has water absorptive polymer 3, at least one of both the sheet material 1, 2 has expandability, the absorptive structure 10 has an area (A) where the absorptive material is arranged and an area (B) where the absorptive material is not arranged, both the sheet materials 1, 2 are bonded in the absorptive material not arranging area (B), and the absorptive polymer 3 present near the border with the area (B) is fixed to either one or both of the sheet materials 1, 2 in at least the absorptive material arranging area (A).
