<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document holder accessory which can hold a document exactly irrespective of the thickness of the document. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The back piece 3 and the first pressing piece 5 of the document holder accessory 1 are constituted of material having elasticity, and the document 10 of the thickness below a standard gap GS is sandwiched between the tip part 62 of a second pressing piece 6 disposed at the sandwiching position and a document placing piece 2. The document 10 of the thickness exceeding the standard gap GS is sandwiched between the document pressing unit 52 of the first pressing piece 5 and the document placing piece 2 in the state where the second pressing piece 6 is disposed at the opening position.
