<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which can prevent infiltration of dust into a rotor and damages to a stator, at transporting. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A brushless motor 7 is equipped with a tubular stator housing 35 which has an opening 37, a stator core 36, which is fixed within the stator housing 35 and on which a coil 38 is wound, and a rotor 31 which has a hollow rotating shaft 46, to which a rotor magnet 33 is attached and is arranged rotatably inside the stator core 36.
