PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable absorption of even larger misalignment. SOLUTION: This mounting structure of a rotation angle detector 1 is provided with the rotation angle detector 1 which is constituted of a fixed part 2 and a rotating part 3 and detects a rotation angle of the rotating part 3 to the fixed part 2, and the fixed part 2 is fixed to a prescribed base 4, while the rotating part 3 is fixed to a prescribed rotating shaft 5. The mounting structure is provided with an annular connecting plate 11 which connects the base 4 and the fixed part 2 and elastically supports the fixed part 2 or which connects the rotating shaft 5 and the rotating part 3 and elastically supports the rotating part 5. As for the connecting plate 11, the base 4 is fixed outside the plate in the radial direction while the fixed part 2 is fixed inside it, or the rotating part 3 is fixed outside the plate in the radial direction while the rotating shaft 5 is fixed inside it, and a waveform part 14 undulated along the radial direction and a plurality of slits 19 are formed between the outside and the inside in the radial direction.
