PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for checking the transcription status of a molded article using checking the status of a transcription film after transcription, and a transcription device using the same. SOLUTION: The method for checking the transcription status of a molded article transcribed by a transcriber, includes the steps of using that, because the transcription film after a transcription portion is transcribed to the molded article by the transcriber is wholly transparent when the transcription portion is completely transcribed to the molded article, in a still image, which is photographed with a camera by lighting up the transcription film after the transcription, the transcribed portion is white and the untranscribed portion is black; determining the black and white of the still image by a diagnostic imaging apparatus; determining that the transcription status is no good when there is a black portion on the still image; and determining that the transcription status is good when the still image is white.
