The device has a control disk (6) and an actuating element (10), which are moved in a predetermined direction (R1) by actuation of a key from number of predetermined keys (23-26) in a predetermined direction (R2), so that contact arrangements (13, 14) closed. The element comprises a spring (11), which exerts a prestressing force on the element in a direction of the control disk. The contact arrangements are connected with the actuating element by a spring (12), and switch illumination of the predetermined keys. The arrangements are activated, when the predetermined keys are actuated.
