<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain waste of the diameter of a power branch wire of a circuit cell to reduce the area of the cell accordingly. <P>SOLUTION: This semiconductor integrated circuit includes: a cell arrangement region A1 including circuit cells 10 of power control objects, and always-on circuit cell groups 50, 50A of which the power supply is always turned on after activation; a reference voltage main line VSS arranged in the cell arrangement region A1; and VSS upper-layer branch lines 72 and VSS lower-layer branch lines 71, arranged by being branched from the reference voltage main line VSS in the cell arrangement region A1. The circuit cells 10 are connected to the reference voltage main line VSS via power switches M1, M2 and the VSS upper-layer branch lines 72. The always-on circuit cells 50A (branch connection circuit cells) are connected to the reference voltage main line VSS via the common VSS lower-layer branch lines 71, and the other always-on circuit cells 50 (individual connection circuit cells) are connected to the reference voltage main line VSS by individual connection lines 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
