<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-base type lamp capable of easily assembling and effectively automatizing its manufacturing. <P>SOLUTION: A lamp bulb is surrounded by an outer tube and an envelope, and the outer tube and the envelope are supported by a base. The base has a central opening for housing the outer tube, and has a base insulator made of an insulating material. The base insulator has a round segment with a plateau. The envelope has a round opening with a lower contact surface at a base side regarding to the base, the lower contact surface is adjusted to the plateau of the segment on the base insulator, and the envelope is mounted on the base insulator with a cement-free mechanical retaining mechanism. A damping member is inserted between the envelope and the base insulator, the damping member is a ring-shaped component cut off from a round plate, and the ring-shaped component has every one web shoulder section at two opposite sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
