<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current drive type driver by which a drive signal with a satisfactory through rate can be obtained even if an input voltage is low voltage, in the current drive type driver in which an input signal is connected to the positive-phase input terminal of an operational amplifier, the output of the operational amplifier is connected to the gate of a transistor constituting a source follower, the current source of the source follower is connected to a power source side and a ground side via a switching circuit which is to be controlled by an external signal, respectively, the output of the operational amplifier or the source follower is connected to the opposite phase input terminal of the operational amplifier, with the output voltage being determined by the input signal, and which outputs a signal whose rising timing and falling timing are determined by the external signal from the source follower. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The current drive type driver is such that the output of the operational amplifier is connected to the power source side of the transistor of the source follower via an electrostatic capacity.
