<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC conversion circuit that obtains advantages capable of eliminating time delay and reducing voltage ripple and a controller used for the circuit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The system is configured such that an electric power is transmitted to an output terminal to boost an output voltage immediately or within a satisfactory term if the output voltage lower than a predetermined value is detected, when a charge pump control circuit is changed into a pulse frequency modulation mode (PFM) with a multi-phase transmitter or a one-shot circuit.
