<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correlate a pressurization position detected by a floor sensor with each user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Pressurization positions measured by the floor sensor are grouped, and the position of the center of gravity thereof is used as one index for indicating a user's position. Then, a grounding pattern (right foot grounding/left foot grounding/left and right foot grounding) is determined by a particle filter using three types of grounding models (right foot grounding model, left foot grounding model, left and right grounding model) from the position of the center of gravity of the group and the state vector of each user, and the weight candidate of each user in each group is calculated.
