<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank level monitoring system using a network in consideration of a characteristic of an LNG, and its monitoring method. <P>SOLUTION: This LNG tank level monitoring system comprises three servers, a Web server, a supporting server, and a database server. The Web server sends a Web page to a client terminal via a network, automatically sends an e-mail describing information such as a tank level input from the Web page to a fixed e-mail address, and holds a target value achieving simulation result of the LNG tank level created by the database server. The supporting server converts information extracted from the e-mail to update the information held in a storage part of the database server.
