<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic lens in which curvature caused during its manufacture is suppressed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plastic lens 1 includes: a lens section 2 having optical faces; and a frame 3 formed around the lens section 2. The optical faces of the lens section 2 differ from each other on both its sides in the direction of an optical axis. In the plastic lens 1, a counterboring shape is formed in the through-hole of a frame 3 in which the lens section 2 is formed, on the small-radius optical face side of the lens section 2. A projecting portion, which projects along the counterboring shape, is formed around the lens section 2. In the manufacture of the plastic lens 1, curvature of the plastic lens 1 is suppressed by thermal contraction of the projecting portion of the lens section 2. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
