PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase in data size to be used and the time to be spent on preliminary calculation while maintaining the decision accuracy of a masking relation for optimization to omit graphics drawing of a three-dimensional space. SOLUTION: This masking data creation method includes steps of: specifying a first region included in first space division definition; when it is assumed that there exists a camera in a first region, deciding whether or not there is visibility from the first region to each second region included in second space division definition different in division size from that of the first space division definition; creating masking data showing whether or not there is visibility from all the first regions included in the first space division definition to each second region included in the second space division definition based on the decision result; deciding whether there is visibility from the first region to the second region based on the masking data; and drawing only a model decided to have visibility.
