PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that a high supply voltage of a scan driver IC excessively rises to destroy the scan driver IC when a specific control signal abnormality occurs in the scan driver IC. SOLUTION: In a driving circuit of a plasma display panel, a comparison circuit which separates an external supply voltage and an internal supply voltage and compares both of them is provided in the scan driver IC, so that it is possible to control an output-stage switch element to prevent destruction of the scan driver IC when an overvoltage is applied to an output terminal.
