<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reprint system that enables reproduction even if a user does not record previous print setting of a printer in reprint and hence can obtain the same print result as a print image, and can obtain a closer print result when the same environment as that of the previous printing of a print image cannot be reproduced since, for example, there is not the same image information as the print image and the same printer as the print image cannot be used. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An image processing unit has: a means for inputting an image in which prescribed additional information is embedded; a means for separating the embedded additional information from an inputted image; a means for searching a prescribed image to be printed from the separated additional information; a multiplexing means for embedding the separated additional information to the searched image; a means for setting a prescribed print model and print setting to a printer from the separated additional information; and a print means for printing the image in which the additional information has been embedded.
