<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standing aid for reducing floating of the bottom of a user's foot or slippage of his/her buttocks when getting up from a toilet seat or the like, to facilitate his/her standing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The standing aid includes a seat portion configured to be seated thereon, and a driving section for moving the seat portion from a seating position to a leaving position, wherein the driving section moves the seat portion obliquely backward when moving the seat portion to the leaving position.
