PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a program which prevent an image shown by image information received through a communication line from being left as it is when not formed in an image forming media normally. SOLUTION: After receiving image information by a FAX transmission and reception 84 through a communication 83, a CPU 70 controls an image forming control portion 80 so as to form a testing image on a photosensitive drum and also performs information processing which informs that the image is not formed and suspension processing that suspends image forming, when an ADC sensor 27 detects that the testing image is not formed.
