PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily determine the type of an image by using the differential value of the frequency distribution of the pixel value of an object image. SOLUTION: An image processor 10 includes an image acceptance part 11 for accepting the object image and a type determination part 12 for determining the type of the object image based on the differential value of the frequency distribution of the pixel value of the object image.
