<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a desired color processing to different images on a page, respectively. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The images 8, 10 in the page P are made into divided images, respectively by an area division part 52, then whether or not the divided images are originally identical images is discriminated, based on the pixel values of mutual boundary pixels of the adjacent divided areas by an identical image discrimination part 54, and the same color processing is performed on the discriminated originally identical images 8, 10 by a color processing part 56. thus the desired color processing is applied to each of the different images 8, 10.
