<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board video recording device which can record video data from a plurality of cameras into a small memory card and is manufactured at a low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The on-board video recording device includes: a video signal A/D circuit for converting each of video signals picked up by a plurality of cameras into digital video data; frame memory circuits for storing each of the video data outputted from the video signal A/D circuit per frame; a control section for controlling any one of the frame memory circuits to control so that the frame memory circuits can output the video data before and after a time series; a video data compression circuit for compressing the video data per frame to be outputted from any one of the frame memory circuits; and a digital recording section for recording the compressed video data into the memory card.
