<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool rearranging method which facilitates rearrangement of tools only by designating a T command value of a tool group and an address command value of a main magazine, and implements exchange of a tool in the tool group for a spare tool when the life of the tool expires. <P>SOLUTION: According to the tool rearranging method, during execution of a machining step, the T command value of the tool group to be arranged in the main magazine and the address command value of the main magazine are designated for each tool group. The tool of the designated tool group corresponding to the T command value, which is called up from a sub-magazine during the machining step, for use in machining of a workpiece, is rearranged so as to be stored in a new address of the main magazine designated by the address command value. When the life of the tool expires, the spare tool in the tool group is rearranged so as to be stored in the new address of the main magazine, and thereafter the expired tool is exchanged for the spare tool by an ATC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
