PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting base unit for a free-access floor, which can prevent a supporting base from easily coming off a pedestal of a connecting support member. SOLUTION: This supporting base unit comprises: the plurality of almost-columnar supporting bases 34 for supporting a panel forming member 8, forming a floor surface of the free-access floor, from its downside; and the connecting support member 36 which has the plurality of pedestals 40 formed with recesses 42 for supporting the plurality of supporting bases 34, respectively, and which is formed to integrally connect the plurality of pedestals 40 together by maintaining spacings among them. A plurality of protrusions 46 are formed at mutual spacings in a horizontal circumferential direction on the inner peripheral surface of the recess 42 of the pedestal 40. This can prevent the supporting base from easily coming off the pedestal of the connecting support member of the supporting base unit for the free-access floor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
