<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming unit in which a photoconductor is electrified with simple constitution, and an adhesive matter is prevented from being accumulated at a contact part between the photoconductor and a charging roller. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A regulating member 4 is arranged so as to surround the charging roller 3 and regulates movement of the charging roller 3. The regulating member 4 has a pressing section 41, and the pressing section 41 is inclined with respect to a direction L linking the center 3a of the charging roller 3 and a shaft 2a of the photoconductor 2 as seen from a direction of the shaft 2a of the photoconductor 2.
