<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game ball transfer control device preventing such a situation that a prize ball counting machine cannot be used even if a number of players successively load game balls into the prize ball counting machine at the end of the business hours as the ball counting machine is full. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game ball transfer control device 14 counts the total game balls put out of respective game machines in a plurality of banks of game machines during the business hours before a prescribed time to the end of the business hours, subtracts the total game balls shot into the respective game machines during the business hours from the total put-out game balls. Then, the number of game balls is obtained as a target quantity by subtracting the total game balls loaded into respective prize ball counting machines of the plurality of banks of game machines during the business hours from the calculated number after the subtraction. Then, game balls are transferred among the plurality of banks of game machines before the end of the business hours so that the total capacity of the banks of game machines having the prize ball counting machines is at least the target quantity.
