<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor having a high mobility and a large current on/off ratio, and is superior in storage stability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The organic transistor includes an organic semiconductor layer, which contains at least one compound represented by a general formula 1. In the formula 1, X<SB>1</SB>to X<SB>22</SB>each independently represent a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, straight-chain, branched, or cyclic alkyl group, straight-chain, branched, or cyclic alkoxy group, or substituted or unsubstituted aryl group.
