The shift device has two fixed contacts (5) on bus bars (3,4) and a double interrupting rotating contact, which is carried out as pivoted double arm (6) with two moving contacts (7). The fixed and moving contacts provided for contacting are arranged with the contact areas such that the fixed and moving contacts come out due to a contacting force (F-arm) operated by the double arm. An operating force component (F-clip) is produced over the moving contact to the fixed contact in direction of the contact areas of fixed and moving contacts.
