ACTIVE TYPE SCREEN AND POINTING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An active screen and a pointing device using the same are provided to enable a user to employ a game gun for a large image projection screen. CONSTITUTION: An image is projected on an active screen(100). An image projecting unit(200) projects the image on the active screen. A light source(300) projects point light on the active screen. An operation controller(400) recognizes the point light on the active screen. According to a signal of an optical sensor, the operation controller operates coordinates values of the light. The first optical waveguide and the second optical waveguide are extended to be orthogonal each other. The first optical waveguide is adjacent to an image projection film.
