PURPOSE:A polyester composition having improved crystallinity and releasability, comprising polethylene terephthalate and an epoxidized polyalkylene glycol. CONSTITUTION:A polyethylene terephthalate or a polyester consisting of 80 % or more of ethylene terephthalate repeating units is incorporated with 0.1-15 wt.% of an epoxidized polyalkylene glycol and/or polyalkylene glycol derivative. A glycidyl ether of a polyalkylene glygol having a molecular weight <=5,000, preferably 200-1,500 or a polyalkylene glycol derivative may be preferably used. An inorganic filler is used to increase the crystallization rate; a fibrous reinforcing material, to improve the heat distortion temperature and hot dimensional accuracy. |
