<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant, an antiinflammatory agent, an anti-aging agent and a hair-growing agent each exhibiting excellent actions and being highly safe, and a skin care preparation for external use and foods and drinks that utilize at least any one of the antioxidant, the antiinflammatory agent, the anti-aging agent and the hair-growing agent. <P>SOLUTION: The antioxidant, the antiinflammatory agent, the anti-aging agent and the hair-growing agent comprise at least any one selected from among extracts of Millingtonia hortensis, extracts of Leea macrophylla, extracts of Codariocalyx motorius, extracts of Martynia annua, extracts of Pittosporum napaulense, extracts of Hesperethusa crenulata, extracts of Pterospermumu diversifolium, extracts of Grewia eriocarpa, extracts of Thunbergia laurifolia and extracts of Premna integrifolia.
