<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce mistakes of an operator selecting wrong image data when instructions are received requiring manual change of a machine plate such as "addition" or "renewal". <P>SOLUTION: A printing control apparatus is equipped with a plate identification data file in which character data for plate identification on newspaper are extracted from image data and stored as plate identification data, and with a plurality of operation buttons corresponding to types of plate identification data. When any one of the operation buttons is worked and when the plate identification data corresponding to that operation button are stored in the plate identification data file, image data corresponding thereto are outputted to a printing monitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
