<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falsification, unauthorized taking, etc. of medical data while all the medical data about a patient are shared by medical workers. <P>SOLUTION: When a patient's biometric authentication information matches registered biometric authentication information, data resulting from encryption of medical data and the patient's biometric authentication information are stored in a medical data storage part 2b2. After the patient's biometric authentication information that corresponds to both the medical worker's biometric authentication information and the patient information and an access authority are read from an access authority data storage part 2c1, the encrypted data corresponding to the biometric authentication information is read from the medical data storage part 2b2 and copied.
