<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for a system for aligning data. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a data processing component 414 for generating a plurality of processed data streams 422, 432, 442, 452 delayed by the number of successively increasing clock cycles; each of a plurality of sequence detection components 420, 430, 440, 450 that are coupled to the data processing component, receives one of the processed data streams as the input data stream, inspects the input data stream for a predetermined sequence of bits, and responds to the detection of the predetermined sequence of bits to transmit an indicator; and a data selection component 460 for receiving the plurality of processed data streams, and responding to the reception of the indicator from a corresponding sequence detection component to select one of the plurality of processed data streams. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
