PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin-coated metal sheet for a container which can correspond to many characteristics necessary for a food can material. SOLUTION: The coated metal sheet has resin layers containing a polyester as the main component on both sides of a metal sheet. The resin layer arranged on the outer surface side of the container after the metal sheet is molded into the container is made of polyester resin layers of a multiple layer structure. Out of the polyester layers, an adhesion layer formed on the upper layer of the metal sheet contains a block-free isocyanate compound, and the mole number of NCO groups contained in the isocyanate compound is 0.5-15.0 times of the mole number of OH groups contained in the polyester resin layer forming the adhesion layer. Out of the polyester resin layers, the degree of residual orientation of the polyester resin layer formed on the upper layer of the adhesion layer is preferably 2-30%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
