<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine suppressing deterioration in exhaust property, in an internal combustion engine automatically started or stopped. <P>SOLUTION: In the internal combustion engine mounted on a hybrid vehicle performing travelling only by an M/G, an exhaust passage thereof has a catalytic device on which exhaust cleaning catalyst for cleaning exhaust is carried. An electronic control unit performs a cylinder operation control operating a cylinder out of all cylinders, on the condition that a catalyst temperature T is a predetermined temperature Tc or lower at which cleaning ability is impaired when satisfying an M/G travel condition as an automatic stop condition of the internal combustion engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
