PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an undercut free type fixed constant velocity universal joint having eight balls, which can improve the torque capacity at a high operation angle, securing durability at a low operation angle. SOLUTION: This is an undercut free type fixed constant velocity universal joint having eight balls. The center of a track groove 32 of an outside joint member and the center of the track groove 32 of an inside joint member are respectively separated from the joint center surface P on both side in the axial direction, and are offset to positions separated from the joint center axis X on the opposite side in the radial direction relative to the track groove 32. When a distance between the center of the track groove 32 of the outside joint member and the center of a ball 37 is Rt and an axial distance between the center of the track groove 32 of the outside joint member and the joint center surface P is F, a ratio R1 of F to Rt satisfies a formula 0.061≤R1≤0.087, and when the radial offset amount as a distance between the center of the track groove 32 of the outside joint member and the joint center axis X is fr, a ratio R3 of the fr to Rt satisfies a formula 0.07≤R3≤0.19.
