PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial extruder screw assuring a toughness without damaging an abrasion resistance at a flight drest, and its method for manufacturing. SOLUTION: The extruder screw includes a flight part 3f formed spirally on the outer periphery, and is characterized in that the hardness of both ends 3f<SB>2</SB>in a width direction in the flight part 3f is higher than the hardness of the central part 3f<SB>1</SB>positioned between both ends 3f<SB>2</SB>.
