<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball spline for improving the service life, by preventing edge stress when receiving a moment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A ball spline outer cylinder 4 is composed of a cylindrical part 41 for arranging a spline track 4a on an inner peripheral surface, and a large diameter part 42 existing on both sides of the cylindrical part 41 and larger than the cylindrical part 41 in both an inner diameter and an outer diameter. An end surface 42a of the large diameter part 42 is formed in a tapered shape of reducing a diameter inward in the axial direction in a pre-installation state to a housing 6, and when sandwiched between flanges 43 and 44 arranged in the housing 6, respective tapered end surfaces 42a of the large diameter part 42 are elastically deformed along a side surface of respective flanges 43 and 44 of the housing 6.
