<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing machine capable of simply controlling a car washing machine body for a vehicle to be conveyed by a vehicle conveying apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The car washing machine includes a floor installation type car washing machine body 1 and a conveyor 10 for conveying a vehicle 2 by pushing front and rear wheels 2a, 2b by a roller 13, and further includes a vehicle loading detection plate 53 for detecting the vehicle 2 which is stopped while the roller 13 getting into under the vehicle. When the vehicle 2 is detected by the vehicle loading detection plate 53, the car washing operation for the vehicle is interrupted based on the profile of the vehicle 2 detected in advance. When the vehicle 2 is not detected by the vehicle loading detection plate 53, the car washing operation for the vehicle 2 is re-started. Thus, continuous control of the car washing device can be avoided based on the profile of the vehicle 2 though the vehicle 2 is stopped, any contact of the car washing device with the vehicle 2 is prevented without performing the control requiring various kinds of procedures, and the car washing machine body 1 can be simply controlled with respect to the vehicle 2 conveyed by the conveyor 10.
