<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproduction technology for preventing erroneous interpolation in interpolation frame generation while sub video display is valid. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optical disk reproduction device is characteristically provided with: an optical disk drive; a main video data decoder which decodes main video data from the optical disk drive and outputs the data to the outside as a main video data decoding signal; and a sub video data decoder which decodes sub video data from the optical disk drive and outputs the data to the outside as a sub video data decoding signal. The video display device is characteristically provided with: a main video signal processor which inputs the main video data decoding signal from the outside and outputs a video of an interpolation frame generation result; a sub video signal processor which inputs the sub video data decoding signal from the outside and outputs a video of an interpolation frame generation result; and a video composition unit which generates and outputs a composite video from the output of the main video signal processor and the output of the sub video signal processor.
