PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information sharing system using a simple database, and also provide a method therefor. SOLUTION: The information sharing system is composed of three servers, that is, a Web server, a supporting server and a database sever. The Web server has a mail hosting function which transmits an exclusive Web page to a client terminal, writes information input from the exclusive Web page in an electronic mail, and automatically transmits the electronic mail to a fixed electronic mail address, and holds information for browsing which is generated by the database server. The supporting server receives the electronic mail and converts a data format of information extracted from the electronic mail text in order to update the information stored in the storage part of the database server. The database server updates the information stored in the storage part with the converted information and generates the information for browsing on the basis of the information in the storage part.
