<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking state confirming device capable of easily and visibly recognizing a locking state, and clearly taking a picture of the locking state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The locking state confirming device 50 for confirming a fitting state of a locking rod and a locking piece in an electric switch machine is provided with an outer casing part 51 which is disposed on the opposite side of a fitting place between the locking rod and the locking piece and is configured so as to be attached to the electric switch machine, a mirror surface part 52 which is disposed within the outer casing part to reflect the fitting place, a confirmation window part 54 which is formed on an upper face 53 of the outer casing part and is configured so that the fitting place can be visibly recognized via the mirror surface part, and a lighting device which is disposed within the outer casing part and is configured so that the mirror surface part can be illuminated.
